For most of
May and June 2011 I worked as a Production Assistant on the film Laughing at
The Moon.This was an amazing
experience.I had some film set
experience from doing behind the scenes for That Evening Sun but this was my
first time working everyday on a feature film.Most of the crew came from Alabama but they hired plenty of
locals as well.The film was shot
on RED and was a pretty big production for Knoxville.During the 5 week shoot I had the opportunity to work
closely with every department.I
was able to learn a lot from everyone and contribute my knowledge as well.The most exciting activities on the
movie included burning a house, doing a little skateboard stunt and converting
locations all over Knoxville into to movie sets.
